Doing well with our savings has little to do with how smart we are but a lot to do with how we behave.  Our primary goal is helping clients overcome common planning and behavioral mistakes.  Our second goal is to secure the certainty of needed income while reserving the possibility for reasonable returns. Scott provides clients with focused personal attention with materially lower fees than Wall Street captive competitors.

A fourth generation Texan, he directs his clients around the pitfalls of Wall Street to a serene path of confidence.  He has broad financial sector experience in activities ranging from commercial real estate, commercial banking, institutional equity research, investment banking and over a decade as a co-fund manager of three United Kingdom based closed-end funds. He is quoted extensively in the Financial Times article, "Finding profit among the world's smaller entrepreneurs", June 23, 2008.  Scott holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business - Babson College; and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  He has traveled the former communist East Berlin, Prague and Budapest before the wall came down; parts of Western Europe; China; the Caribbean; and has lived in Colorado, Boston, Dallas and is happily committed to his hometown of Houston.
