After working his way through the USC Graduate School of Business, George began his financial career as a commercial banker and then moved into corporate finance as the Investor Relations Director for a Fortune 1000 company. In this capacity, he managed the company’s communications with Wall Street and met with security analysts and shareholder representatives on a regular basis.
As the Baby Boomer generation moved toward retirement, George became more and more concerned that Boomer investments often were concentrated far too heavily in stock-related assets. He saw a tremendous need to improve financial literacy and education and began to teach individuals the same principals of wealth management and financial security that succeeded in corporate America. His primary focus today is assisting clients preparing for retirement. He helps them identify achievable goals and then works together with them to create a plan to achieve these goals.
In addition to his MBA, George is certified by the National Social Security Association and has licenses in insurance, real estate and securities (Series 65). He is an excellent evaluator of complex financial instruments and always approaches client relationships with positivity and humor (traits that he developed while working as a guide on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland during his college years).
