Mitch Roberts

Mitch Roberts
Born and raised in Missoula Montana, Mitch grew up surrounded by community, competition, and Griz football. A lifelong athlete, he went on to play six seasons as a wide receiver for the University of Montana while earning both his undergraduate degree in Business and his MBA. Mitch’s path to financial advising was shaped by his own early lack of financial knowledge. Growing up, he saw firsthand how confusing and intimidating financial decisions could be—and how easily people could fall behind without proper guidance. That experience sparked his drive to learn everything he could about finance and eventually led him to a career where he could help others feel more confident and control their financial future. Today, Mitch serves clients at SG Long Financial with a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach, built on trust and transparency. He is also committed to giving back to the Missoula community, currently serving as the treasurer on the board of directors for Head Start Missoula and volunteering as an assistant football coach at Sentinel High School (Go Spartans!). Outside the office, Mitch enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending summer days on the river with his wife Kailey. He values meaningful relationships, lifelong learning, and helping others navigate their financial lives with confidence and clarity. Education: B.S. in Management Information Systems / Masters in Business Administration (MBA), University of Montana Licenses: Series 7, 66; Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance
