Arcie Petty
Arcie Petty is the founder of M.A.P. Advisory, a retirement, investment, insurance, and legacy planning firm dedicated to empowering individuals and entrepreneurs to take control of their financial futures. Rooted in a deep sense of service and inspired by his family's personal experiences, Arcie launched M.A.P. Advisory to help clients navigate the complex decisions around pensions, benefits, and long-term financial wellness. His mission is to equip working- and middle-class families with the tools to preserve wealth, protect income, and plan for the next generation with clarity and confidence.
A seasoned entrepreneur with a knack for identifying emerging opportunities, Arcie Petty embarked on his entrepreneurial journey with a clear vision: to revolutionize how businesses define success through living out their mission. As the Co-Founder and Treasurer of A Better You, he spearheads initiatives that propel the company to the forefront of the non-profit industry. In addition, he is a certified volunteer with the American Medicare Disability Advocates.
Arcie’s diverse professional background infuses his ongoing work. A decade as an educator and department head highlighted his creative approach by invigorating ancient Latin and Greek curricula with project-based learning, skills mastery, and technological integration in North Carolina and New England. While teaching, he began to build a real estate portfolio to provide quality housing in urban areas where working-class families run the risk of getting priced out. After moving back to Cleveland, Arcie became a financial planner and business consultant, striving to merge his educational, investing, and entrepreneurial experiences to serve the community even more directly. As a business coach and consultant with JumpStart, he supports entrepreneurs in developing sustainable models and scaling impact-driven ventures.
Arcie Petty holds a B.A. from Boston University and M.A. from Boston College both in Ancient Greek and Latin. He employs a historical, methodical, and integrative approach from his academic background in his pioneering real estate and entrepreneurial work. Professionally, he is FINRA Series 65 licensed and is a Registered Social Security Advisor.
In his free time, Arcie treasures time with his wife and four children; playing & watching a variety of sports; reading; avidly cooking; spending time on – and near – any body of water, especially for rowing; and other exercises in the gym, running around Cleveland, biking, and kayaking.
