I founded Delgado Wealth Management, now known as Wisdom Planning Group, in 2014. Working with clients I genuinely like and who are receptive to our advice brings me immense satisfaction. As an independent fiduciary, I have the flexibility to prioritize my clients' best interests, ensuring that the financial strategies we develop are tailored to their unique needs and goals. My journey into the world of financial planning began in 1999 after serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps. I began by earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. As I grew in my career, I have recognized the importance of providing unbiased financial guidance to clients without conflicts arising from proprietary product sales, commonly found in large brokerage firms. This realization led me to establish Delgado Wealth Management, which later evolved into Wisdom Planning Group. My mission is clear: to assist families and individuals in Orlando by offering comprehensive financial solutions that focus solely on their success, not on the firm's bottom line. My personal background greatly influences my dedication to financial planning. Born in Cuba, I arrived in the United States at the age of six on a fishing boat in 1980. Growing up as a poor immigrant with a single mother who lacked financial planning skills inspired me to learn about financial planning and share my knowledge with others. I am driven by the desire to empower individuals and families with the tools and education they need to build a secure financial future. With my children, Adrian, Kiana, and Angel, mostly grown, I am now an empty nester. I cherish the opportunity to include them in my life and business, teaching them about the importance of financial planning and how it can enable us to create meaningful experiences together, particularly through travel.
