James Ball

James Ball
James Ball served six years in the US Navy in the nuclear submarine service after high school. With the cold war at its height, it was a very interesting time to be in the clandestine business. James went to college after the military and earned a Cum Laude degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. After college Jim spent 18 years with Deere & Co. with responsibility for the six New England states and New York. Jim was later recruited into the merger and acquisition arena for four years. Desiring a more independent status, Jim entered the financial and insurance business in 1994 and received his CFP accreditation in 2000. In 1997 Jim started his own agency, Medallion Financial Resources. His focus has always been "innovative solutions" to satisfy client objectives. Jim functions as a fiduciary, thus his focus is on the client's best interest, not that of an insurance company or financial organization. Jim is committed to maintaining the highest standard of integrity and professionalism and building long-lasting relationships with his clients. His endeavor is to know and understand your financial situation and provide you with only the highest quality information, services, and products to help you reach your financial goals. Jim is married to his wife Pat of 45 years, residing on Florida's Gulf Coast, and they enjoy spending time with their daughter and their grandson. Being an avid golfer, in Jim's downtime, you can find him on one of the many beautiful local golf courses. Jim's most memorable golf outing was getting a hole in one on the 6th hole, sinking it in from 176 yards out with a 4 iron at The Oaks at Heron Creek Golf and County Club.
