Ken L. Stone is a nationally recognized financial educator, author, speaker and retirement planning expert. With over 30 years of experience working in the financial services industry, Ken brings extensive knowledge of investment, money management, and successful retirement planning strategies to the table. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central State University and an Executive Certificate in Certified Financial Planning from Xavier University. Ken has received his certification in Retirement Financial Advising, he holds a Registered Financial Consultant designation, as well as Series 7 and 63 licenses. He also maintains health, life and disability insurance licenses. Ken is proud to be a 2008 and 2010 Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager, ranking among the top 6% of wealth managers in Cincinnati. After a successful nine-year career as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch, Ken founded Stone Financial Retirement Planning in 1991. Through his dedication to client service excellence and high ethical standards, he has built a strong foundation with a wealth of loyal clients. One of the cornerstones of his success is the strong and open dialogue he promotes between clients and Stone Financial. Ken also maintains his commitment to the local community through his involvement with various organizations, church and community activities. Ken taught marriage classes, and was lead instructor of the Life Changes class at Solid Rock Church for ten years. Ken previously served on the Board for Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati-LNGC (working with local youth on building self-esteem), he's a former member of the CEG, and he is a Board Member for a well-established local construction company. He has also been involved in the Leadership of Cincinnati Diversity Committee, the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, Cincinnati CEO Roundtable Committee, Cincinnatus Excellence in Education Panel, Prayer Director and member of the International Fellowship of Christian Businessmen (IFCB), and Investment Committee board member for Beech Acres. Ken has also served as a board member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Ken co-authored the book, Retire Abundantly, and has traveled the country lecturing on financial planning, tax advantaged investment and estate planning, and has been a frequent and popular guest on numerous radio and television talk shows in the local tri-state area. Stone Financial Retirement Planning and Securities America are Separate Entities Ken has been married to his wife, Lynne since 1981 and they have three adult children and three beautiful grandsons. They enjoy reading, traveling, and most of all, spending time with their grandchildren.
