Oswaldo “Ozzie” Bermudez, principal owner, officially implemented Network Brokerage in 1995 as a sole proprietorship. The company later incorporated in March of 2000 after becoming more involved with the Small Business Administration and obtaining federal certification. Ozzie received his Bachelor’s degree from one of the country’s top-ranking Ivy League schools, Middlebury College, in Vermont. He earned a double major in Spanish and French with an emphasis in international political science. He immediately entered into graduate school for international business management at The Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California where he earned his MBA. He speaks several languages fluently and recognizes the need for global skills in the insurance, employee benefits and financial security planning industry. Ozzie’s educational background, 10 years of human resources generalist experience and corporate insurance practice over the past twenty-five years have provided him with both the knowledge and expertise necessary for today’s rapid changing insurance and financial services industry. This combination of education and professional work experience has equipped him with a host of skills ranging from organizational business development and employee benefits to individual retirement planning. His depth of knowledge spans virtually all lines of insurance with respect to corporate benefits and places emphasis on individual and small businesses where professional expertise are in growing demand. Ethics and unsurpassed service are the main strengths that have made his practice grow successfully throughout the years. He has been responsible for nurturing meaningful and long lasting relationships with both local and international clientele.
