    Josh Wood
    With over 25 years in financial services, Josh Wood brings experience that spans from Wall Street to the heartland. He has held financial licenses since 1996. Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s in financial planning, and advanced credentials including the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), MPAS® (Master Planner Advanced Studies), CRPS® (Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist), ABFP℠ (Accredited Behavioral FinanceProfessional), and APMA® (Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor). He is also fully licensed across investment, insurance, and advisory disciplines. Over the years, Josh has developed specialties beyond traditional planning solutions, such as advanced retirement plans for entrepreneurs and executives, to real estate liquidity and tax optimization. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including small business owners, ranchers, professional athletes, C-suite executives, and real estate investors. In the last decade, due to the significant population growth in Texas, he has also developed extensive experience with the many financial nuances facing those relocating to or within Texas.     Josh Gross
    Josh grew up in Sachse, Tx and still lives within 15 minutes of his childhood home. He takes great pride in his community and serving his Texas neighbors. As a finance major at the University of North Texas, Mr. Gross fueled his market curiosity that had begun as a teen. After college, he joined Fidelity Investments as a licensed representative, but felt he wasn’t making the impact on people’s financial lives that he’d imagined. Josh decided to take his life in a different direction to satisfy his passion for inspiration and left Fidelity to teach personal finance and coach high school football and basketball. He spent a decade shaping the minds, bodies and confidence of young men and women. Through the years, he’s realized his true calling was to help Americans develop a financial plan for their future and best ensure a comfortable retirement and legacy for their loved ones. He stays immersed in the financial markets and how news, economic, and policy changes affect them and our investments. When he’s not in the office, Josh loves spending time with his wife and new son, Jack. You might find him unwinding by playing sports or anything physically active.  Josh was attracted to PEAK because he saw firsthand the level of attention PEAK puts into client plans and the team approach they take.     In my role, I handle the day-to-day operations of our office, coordinate client services, and support our financial advisory team. On a personal note, I’m also a proud parent to two young girls. Being a father has deepened my commitment to creating a positive impact in the lives of those around me, both professionally and personally.     Brian Safdari
    Brian Safdari, founder of Wealth Planning Experts, first settled in the United States at the age of 5 after emigrating to the San Fernando Valley in California from Afghanistan. Brian’s accomplishments have been a testament to the ambition and determination he’s had ever since his youth as a former member of the Olympic Development Program for the California state soccer team and a selected player for the USA Junior Team in the 1998 World Cup in France.   After an abrupt end to his athletic career due to injury, Brian faced the unexpected setback of not receiving a full athletic scholarship to fund his college education and acquired $50,000 of student debt for his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Upon discovering that better financing options could’ve alleviated some of the cost of his higher education, he committed himself to a line of work devoted to helping families make college more attainable, accessible, and affordable than they realized it could be.   With over 20 years in the financial services industry, he’s helped more than 25,000 families and successfully expanded his financial services to encompass a broader range of financial planning that addresses a variety of financial concerns expressed by his clients. Brian has been featured as a financial expert across various news and TV platforms and recognized by members of the US House of Representatives, Congress, Senate, and across multiple levels of government in the state of California.   Since 2012, Brian has been a recognized member of an independent association of the world’s leading life insurance and financial services professionals known as the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). In 2014 and 2015, he qualified for MDRT Court of the Table, which is awarded to the world’s most successful financial services professionals who meet the MDRT’s stringent qualifications, such as demonstrating exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct, and outstanding client service. Since 2016 he has been a Top of the Table Member, which requires belonging to the top 1% of financial professionals and had the honor of being featured as the Top of the Table Speaker in the 2017 MDRT Annual Meeting.   In addition to these highly impressive accolades, his participation in free community workshops, presentations at high schools and public libraries, and help with raising over $121,000 in charity to many non-profit organizations has contributed to his glowing reputation for his philanthropic work.     Joseph Nappi
    As a Senior Wealth Advisor, Joseph Nappi brings a unique global perspective and adaptable mindset to his role. Growing up in Singapore and Hong Kong for 16 years, he developed a deep understanding of diverse financial landscapes from a perspective that most domestic advisors simply don’t experience. His early passion for finance led him to Wall Street, where he managed some of the world's largest and most complex hedge funds as a Risk Manager at Citigroup. Though his market and risk skills were honed to a fine edge, he yearned for deeper connections with people. Mr. Nappi transitioned to Wealth Management, moving to Texas to serve as a Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he oversaw $2 billion in assets.     Derrick R. Mims
    Derrick Mims joined forces with PlanMember Securities Corporation as a Financial Advisor in 2013. He holds Series 6 and 65 securities licenses, as well as his Florida insurance license. Mr. Mims’ financial career is focused on helping school district employees both plan for retirement and manage their assets after retirement. With a special emphasis on conservative, well-diversified* portfolios, the goal is to plan for a retirement income that never runs out.     Robert Lane
    Robbie Lane made a significant career shift 28 years ago, moving from a healthcare role that included being a Wildland Firefighter, Paramedic, Navy Corpsman, and Military Nurse to the world of financial planning. His decision to pursue his passion for finance came after a 15-year healthcare career. Robbie Lane's journey into financial planning was driven by a desire to help people understand markets, retirement planning, and risk management. However, upon entering the financial industry, he was disheartened by the prevalent sales-oriented approach, where products were often 'pitched' to clients. Disliking this approach, he shifted his focus to advocacy and education in his practice. Robbie's core belief is first to understand a family's individual needs and then help them identify the best options for their unique situations. He coined the term "We do creative, intelligent financial thinking" to describe his approach. His passion for the marketplace is contagious, and he balances his time between building a team of top financial planners and taking care of his personal clients. With extensive experience, he manages over $100 million of his client's assets and protection needs. Outside of work, Robbie enjoys backpacking or fishing in Idaho with his wife Raquel, to whom he has been married for 30 years, and their two children, Rob-Roy and Nicole.
