Tim Whisler, CRPC®, CLTC®

Tim is the President and Founder of The Whisler Agency, a comprehensive financial services. The mission statement is “to provide retirees and soon-to-be-retirees with a greater sense of confidence about their retirement plan.” As an independent advisor and fiduciary, Tim is committed to creating solutions for the needs of clients in their best interests. He is passionate about his clients and building their education, and he understands that without his clients, the agency does not exist. Tim grew up in Bloomington/Normal and graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM designation, which has given him additional experience and knowledge to help you effectively evaluate your financial situation and design an optimal retirement plan for your lifestyle. He can also confidently assess a client’s long-term plan and make appropriate recommendations. A dynamic speaker and respected professional, Tim has delivered presentations on myriad financial planning topics including Social Security maximization, retirement income creation, and Medicare planning. Since 2006, he has helped Medicare beneficiaries with information and education on Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans. He has been heard on AM1470 WMBD and has been published locally in The Marketeer as well as nationally on Fox Business. Tim and his wife Ronda reside in Morton with their two sons. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Ronda serves the community as a Registered Nurse.
