Chris Reid
Chris graduated Gonzaga University with Honors in 2007. While his family lineage would have dictated that law school was next Chris instead was hired at the Everett Police Department. In 2011 Chris left his 9-month-old son and wife and went on his last deployment to Afghanistan. Upon returning and having his daughter in 2013 he left Everett PD.
Beginning in 2014 Chris got his independent insurance license. Within two years he was the top advisor at his insurance brokerage, focusing on long term care, life, and disability insurance planning. During this time, he also scored in the top quintile of LSAT test takers and was accepted to law school. Knowing the time commitment of law school, and recognizing the important things in life, he decided to forgo law school and guild his financial services practice. In the following years Chris was awarded his ChFC® by the American College of Financial Services.
During this time Chris was also building a real estate portfolio and helping clients invest in limited issue real estate investments. Wanting to offer a more holistic approach for his clients Chris stated Capital Partners Wealth Management in 2017, offering financial planning, investment, and insurance services. Chris serves as the chief investment officer for his firm and the registered investment advisor for a real estate syndication fund.
Chris lives in Sammamish with his wife and two kids. He enjoys coaching his son’s lacrosse team and rooting his daughter on at her soccer games. Chris’ wife, Nicole, coaches basketball at Eastlake High School and helps Chris run his advisory practice.
