Ricardo Gonzales

Ricardo Gonzales is Director at Family Assured Life and an Investment Advisor Representative with Family Wealth™.  Better known as Ricky to his clients, Ricky grew up in Corpus Christi and left to Arlington, Texas at the age of 17 to attend the University of Arlington to seek a better life and opportunity. As a first-generation college graduate, Ricky understands first-hand the magnitude of money literacy and money management as he had to learn these lessons himself the hard way. While spending a few years in the auto industry and later teaching and coaching high school, he learned a lot about finance and money habits. It was there that he realized the lack of education in financial literacy and the lack of people being taught how to build and protect wealth. That served as a catalyst that began Ricky's true passion and career in financial services.

He sees how so many of us are underserved in learning how money works. He specializes in retirement planning and estate planning and he considers it a privilege to help people build solid plans based on objectives and risk and an honor to be trusted as their advisor.  As a believer and a man of faith, he takes stewardship of assets and money seriously and truly appreciates the value of a dollar. Ricky has been married to his wife Melissa since 2015. They reside in Arlington, Texas with their dog - Lulu, and have been blessed with two children - Lucas and Leo ages 4 and 2 with baby Elena on the way.
